Dr. Christopher Cowell
Dr. Christopher Cowell has almost always known that he wanted to be a dentist. His father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all doctors, so it was only natural that he follow in their footsteps and pursue a healthcare career. Then, at the tender age of 7, he found joy in watching a member of his church choir, who was also a dentist, combine science and creativity to improve people’s lives. That was when he knew he wanted to pursue a career that allowed him to do the same.
Dr. Cowell initially earned an undergraduate degree in biology from Stetson University before he attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1995. From there, he worked as a dentist with nursing homes throughout Florida, where he developed a keen appreciation for helping increase the quality of life for geriatric patients by enhancing their oral health.
Today, Dr. Cowell is dedicated to ongoing education to stay abreast of the most up-to-date advancements in dental technology and techniques so that you can trust you’re receiving the most current treatment options. He also participates in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American College of Dentists, the Florida Dental Association, and the International College of Dentists, to continue honing his skills and abilities.
